I have one of my pinewood batteries in the canvas bag it comes with and then the 17amp battery i just put a half shell on top of it, i do this in sun as well just to hide it a little.

most rotaries are made with windscreen wiper motors that sits in the front of the car under a grill, it gets wet there so why not in the field.

the pinewood is shower proof, made so rain from above cant get into the motor, only if put under water.

Phil.
