silverhawk
On my fac it says the 223 rifle/sound moderator and ammunition shall be used for shooting fox muntjac and chinese water dear and for zeroing on ranges deemed suitable by chief of police and over where holder has authority to shoot,,whilst supervised by mr************* Does this mean i have to be supervised when only shooting fox deer? or can i shoot targets and zero on same land without being supervised thanks
wymberley
Hi, Sadly, I think perhaps not as otherwise the supervisory clause would have been inserted after 'water deer'. A call to your FEO will clarify it. On a formal range you would be supervised by the conducting officer. Cheers

Dekers
The way it is worded is indicative that you cannot shoot anything unless you are in the company of your mentor. Talk to your region and check if this is just poor wording and they are happy for you to zero/target without him...perhaps they are, but it is only them that can confirm this! joke209061
Ive had this clause put on my fac, the feo said that itll have to remain on until mentor is happy that i am safe to shoot unaided. He said that this could be 2 hours or 2 years, doesnt matter, just as soon as the mentor feels the condition can be lifted.
