berties Posted May 13, 2010 Report Share Posted May 13, 2010 Recently started shooting and quite enjoyed a simulated pheasant shoot i attended i am now looking for some clay shooting competitions/gatherings in my area.Salisbury Wiltshire any ideas thanks. for clay pigeon practice there is wylie shooting club thursday and sats ,competitions see the web site the 100 bird is normally very challenging there is upavon open every day except tuesday nice mixture of stands and pool shoot has regular comps again some very demanding stands Acorn shoot has a 50 bird once a month very nice ground for learning as well, call them for details the ground is on the stockbridge to romsey road Spitfire shoot at stockbridge is a nice morning out for solo shooting and is a mixture of stands, wood farm at mere is a great place to shoot but i have heard it is shut for the summer there are plenty of regular sunday morning shoots that come along keep your eye on the meet up section,some members go to somerly at ringwood once a month the invitation is always open to members, Winchester has a few nice shoots chalky hill and wallers ash hope this has covered a few bases maybe see you out and about soon regards B Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
