bakerboy
read your threads that you posted (or check you mailbox) Hi Nickbeardo. The main reason I require the help, is that I do not want to appear rude by not replying to any or all showing interest. I am new to pigeon watch and i am finding most useful and informative, if you like pigeon shooting and can offer advice or fancy an afternoon out you are welcome, you are 25 minutes away approximately. Beardo
sounds like a good offer mate - not a lot of pigeon shooting to be had at the moment though, maybe a bit of late drilling (peas etc.) - best now wait until later in the summer when there are some laid crops, or until harvest. feel free to message me if you want to chat about anything. Hi Nickbeardo we are currently shooting over Alf Alpha (lucerne) just started using decoys and has made a big difference, getting a few more birds each day. Current flock of 200/300 which we need to deter to help the poor old farmer. We are going again Tuesday (tomorrow) afternoon and then again on Thursday afternoon and then Sunday afternoon, if any of these are of interest let me know and we can meet up for instruction and an enjoyable shoot. Billy.
Just messaged you about some shooting. Beardo's just up the road from me, so I'm sure I can speak on behalf of Nick to say that we'd be happy to team up if you've got a serious pigeon problem. Edited May 17, 2010 by Billy. Beardo
i'd love to help, could possibly next week - but this week i'm away working (and have my daughters christening on Sunday). Alfalfa is a great crop to shoot over, not very common round round my parts and the pigeons love it.
al4x
not common round my part as well can't imagine where it is

Beardo
Great meeting up today Terry, thanks so much for the invite - had a really enjoyable shoot, a rare opportunity to decoy at this time of the year, and a beautiful location. Catch you soon, and hopefully i can return the favour some time.
