ronttuk
do ducks have a regular flight or do they swap and change every day ? i was on my shoot and a huge flock of ducks flew across the feild im wondering if its worth me sitting and waiting in the same place to see if they fly past again. henry d
If the weather conditions are exactly the same as the last time then YES,they are likely to be going the same way at about the same time BUT anything could put them off ie.being disturbed at at roost/feed,sparrowhawks hunting nearby even a strange object or sound may put them off. Give it a go as you have done the observation well and it may pay off
Down South
On numerous occasions over the years a flight of Canada geese has crossed one of our pheasant drives in a corridor no more than 150 yards wide, and always low. Now they are on the quarry list they still cross but now just out of range.
