baikal hushpower stealth .410

Recommended Posts

for sale:

Baikal hushpower stealth .410 fully moderated and black synthetic stock.

single shot

3" chamber, full choke

noise level 45 Db at firing point and usually inaudible at above ambient background noise at 150 meters

Plenty about these fantastic little guns on the internet, i'd keep it but i need to make space in my cabinet and it's just not been getting the use it should do.

http://www.saddleryandgunroom.co.uk/Gunroom/SG_Hushpower.htm

Used but in very good condition, metal work and stock perfect, just some very light/fine scratches on moderator (cant see them in photographs), to be expected as the black satin paint is easily marked.

Also included in sale - virtually brand new .410 cleaning kit (boxed), only used 2 or 3 times, and then i only used the bronze metal brush and the wool mop. (worth approx £20)

£280

face to face only

obviously you will need to be a shotgun certificate holder

location: near Welshpool, Powys, Mid-Wales

can easily do a meet in the Shrewsbury area if you want as i'll be there a few times this week

photos:

EDIT - THE MARK ON THE MUZZLE END OF MODERATOR IN SECOND PHOTO IS A REFLECTION, IT IS NOT A SCRATCH (IT LOOKS LIKE THE PAINT HAS BEEN RUBBED AWAY BUT IT'S JUST A REFLECTION FROM THE WINDOW

ANY SCRATCHES ARE FAR TOO LIGHT TO BE SEEN ON ANY PHOTOS

45 db at firing point ? the average volume on a quiet library is 40 db so these must be pretty quiet never heard one actually go off ,

they are pretty quiet, i got that info from the maufacturers (saddlery and gunroom).

When you're in a wide open space you can hear the firing pin strike, it's like an un-moderated air rifle i suppose.

When i'm around farm buildings the sound does echo off the walls etc so its louder then, but still very vey queit, especially with subsonic carts.

I've been using standard 2.5" carts and its been quiet enough for me.

it's about the same as this:

might be interested if you would consider posting to my rfd?

tbh i'd rather face to face so there's no messing around, plus i'd have to see if my local RFD would mind doing it.

I'll keep the offer in mind if i get no luck with a f2f

cheers buddy

I would love to get this for my ten year old, I took him out with the air rifles today and he wanted a go with my AYA s/s 12b with RC30's up the spout, it nearly knocked the poor little **** teeth out, hurt his arm as it slipped of his shoulder and he bit his tounge into the bargain... WHY do you live in welsh wales, not that I'd mind myself but the wife keeps me confined to essex!!

The Saddlery and Gunroom is in Kent where they distribute them. New RRP for a moderated .410 is £315. Depends where you are but only an hour or so away (depends where you are in Essex!).

He might be getting a pressie shortly then, although a s/h one might be cheaper; depends if I have any money left after getting my Beretta Teknys semi-auto. I love the synthetic stock version, hadnt seen it before, I hate the wooden one, looks like one of my mums old wooden spoons.... incidentally I live on the essex/kent border so not too far away probably 45 mins max from saddlery & gunroom. Thanks very much for the info. Gordon
