BIG 5
Has anyone tried making cherry vodka or gin? I bought some cherries cheap today but think they could be too sweet unlike sloes for making a drink. Any recepies or advice on doing this? Fatcatsplat
Well, i reckon you probably need to hull the cherries and gently warm them through with some sugar to make a thick jam and then add it to the vodka - That will be the easiest way. Use 3 to 1 of vodka vs cherries and turn the bottles daily for a fortnight and then weekly until your willpower cracks and you drink 'em. Would advise a minimum of 2 months

pavman
Mr P makes all sorts as she has a sweet tooth for drinks its basically just throw in what you like and let it seep into the Vodka or gin, just remember to cover all the fruit with spirit or it will go mankey
