anser2
Just been watching 100s of pigeon feeding on clover across 4 fields on my shoot , I was almost tempted to have a go at them as its cold and blowing a gale here in Norfolk , but its a bit too early in the summer yet. They are not doing any harm on clover so I will wait a couple of months to let them get a brood or two off before I start chasing them again. dcliff
I have a load eating the early seed pods of Filed Pansies. These tiny little plants can cover set-a-side like a carpet if the soil is right. I got sat in the grass on saturday evening and shot 25 in about an hour... No net, and only one foam-winged flapper! I ran out of bullets then, as I only took a handful.
chrispti
Strawberry fields are quite busy with them at the moment :yp: Most of the pigeons I have had recently seem to be full of seed from bird tables
