deputy dog
Just bought a brand new Rapid 12. And the 1st charge i gave it. Bang the O ring went on the buddy bottle. Looked in the box for a spare. Guess what no spare. Phoned my gun dealer back up and told him about it. He said it was a common fault with those type of O Rings and they got better ones down there at a quid a pop. I asked him if i can buy any local. He said plumbers shops do sell them but their the same as the cheap ones and blow every charge. Any advice if this is true about these O rings. vampire
Dont think the ones we use in plumbing will stand up to those kind of pressures in a buddy bottle, bit cheaper though i would spend a quid and get the right one
Cosd
I guess the gun dealer didn't tell you about the common o ring problem when you were handing over your hard earned!! Personally I would take the gun back and tell him you want your money back just out of principle as it is not fit for purpose. And if you still want the gun buy one from somewhere else knowing the gun has this issue. Forgot to add, after getting my money back for the gun i would then ask for an o ring, give him a pound and tell him you want it for the same gun you will purchase from a gunshop which is more helpful..... Nicky T
I work for a paintball company and we use o-rings to withstand pressures up to 300bar. If you know what size you need drop me a PM and i'll send you some out if we've got them :yp:
