Hello

I am newbie and I am not sure as to what shotguns I can hold with my SGC I currently have a Beretta Universal O/U

and now like the look of the Winchester SXP Pump it comes in 3 or 5 shot, I think I read somewhere I can only own a 3 cart gun, so the advice I need is

1. Can I buy a Winchester SXP with my existing standard SGC

2. Can I have the 5 or 3 shot ?

3. Is it a good SG as it is fairly cheap in comparison to others

Thanks for your time :hmm:

the real question is how did you manage to get your sgc in the first place

ok, on a SGC you can have any smoothbored gun with a barrel at least 24" long with a fixed stock, there is an o/a length but i can't remember as it's never been an issue. the bore must not exceed a diameter of 2", any s/a or p/a you buy must not be able to hold more than 2 carts in the MAGAZINE. with 1 in the chamber, (that's 3) :hmm:

And yes, winchester sx3's are good, but don't use 2+1/2" carts as they are a little bit fussy.

HE said SXP http://www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/produc...ack+Shadow+12m/ not SX3 don't know if it makes a big difference and supplying dealer wont (seriously shouldn't) sell you a FAC shotgun if you have an SGC anyway so you shouldn't be able to buy the wrong one
