Pigeon_snIPer
Hi, I recently changed the bead on my DBBL from a small Brass one to a little larger nightglow version, this seems to be a little bigger in height and width when compared to the older one. I have since not tried it but just needed your opinion if it will effect the point of aim or target gathering. Thanks /S/
vole
I cant see it affecting anything apart from helping,if you needed a more visible bead. I suppose you are not mean to "rifle sight " a shotgun but I sort of do if shooting a sitter. When shooting flying quarry I dont really see the bead but I do use it to check qun mount. I like to see it right in the middle of the rib when I have mounted the gun. I shoot best when I dont think about it at all.
hyflier
Got to agree with that last sentence from Vole Wouldn't advise looking at the bead at all particularly not at moving targets. The eyes should remain focused on the target not the bead. If you were asked to point at a moving object you would do it instinctively and be accurate, try to practice that using the shotgun as an extension of your arm
