mayfly36
Have bought some new lapua cases for reloading in.223. But can anyone tell me on average how may reloads would i expect to get from them before i have to chuck them.?
seeker
in the vihtavhouri manual it sayeth that Lap cases are designed to give at least 10 reloads.... there's a thread somewhere about justifying the extra cost of them. With sensible loading care and possibly annealing some get into the zone that suggests they may be virtually everlasting!! Treat them as consumeables and replace when worn... I've a batch of x55 that are n 10 and look set for more work
jamie g
yes depends on how well you look after them. and how hot your loads are
Vince Green
It depends also on where you decide to say enough and stop. Most cases in .223 will just go on and on, ten reloads from a case will be no trouble, probably most will go for twenty although you will lose a few along the way. The calibre seems very reloadable. Mr_Logic
Although largely superseded by newer brass I bought just to try, I have some Prvi cases that I've used a hell of a lot, well over 10 times.
