ok i think this is my last question regarding the FAC form, i have put down .22rf in guns i wish to own but does this mean i can own as many .22rf as i want or do i have to put another .22rf for a bolt action???

i read through the basc guide to fire arms and found nothing?

only putting one down, will mean you'll get only one

 

if you want two, put it down twice, different actions if needed, ie bolt/semi

 

I put down one, as thats all I wanted, my mate put two and got two, so he can have one set up for night vision, one for days

You need to list as many as you want.

 

...and as most here probably know I hate the term RF on an application...

 

It should be .22lr or .22WMR or whatever you want, but if you can get RF approved then ATB!

You will need to justify both, vermin/rabbits will do if you're only applying for one but to have 2 you need to justify a need for having both - night vision is the most common reason given I'd guess.

 

You don't need to state whether either are bolt action or semi. I put .22LR on mine but it still came back as .22RF so I wouldn't worry about that too much.... I'd be more worried if I'd forgot to include moderators/expanding ammunition

awesome advice guys ill just keep them RF on the FAC then i the polce ask why i have 2 down ill tell em its for night vision (not completely false as im just waiting for a dirt cheap NV scope)
