ST3V3
does anyone use these and get on with them?
steve_b_wales
I used to use them when they were first introduced back in the 1980's. I found them to be good and very accurate. They were (in my opinion) as good as CCI stingers, and a lot cheaper.
minghis
Hmm, I have just gone through 500 of these in my Sako Finnfire and I have to say I won't be using them again. They're good value, I had no misfires or duds and they're loud which I assume means they're 'fast' but however I tried I could not get any decent accuracy with them. Example - 75 yards (ish) zero, no wind, bipod a few out of five would group within an inch. Go shoot some rabbits - lots of misses - frustration - re-zero - and on and on it went, trip after trip after trip.. The body shot was the only way of hitting the rabbits. They were so bad that I felt at one point it had to be the scope losing it's zero (creeping?) and was about to throw the thing away and buy another one. Went back to CCI Mini Mags (High Velocity, not subs) and got much better groups and more head shots. No wasting time re-zeroing, just arrive and shoot. Bliss. So, they may work for you in your gun but certainly not for me.
