wymberley
Hi, About this time last year was having a chat with a member re the title but can't remember who 'twas. Got it sorted by simply fitting an arm from the rotary between the two piece flapper ground rod (OK, bit of metal work). It bounces and it flaps. Unfortunately last year was a complete washout and it didn't get used. This year is looking much better. Any comments anyone about whether or ot this is a good idea? Thanks in advance. Cranfield
Recently I mounted my electronic pigeon flapper on a 5ft length of stiffish metal rod and with a dead bird on the flapper, the rod bends slightly making it rock in the breeze. This has been used on standing wheat in the last couple of weeks to good effect and I have also used it on swathed rape. I intend to use it more in the future, especially with a dead crow on. wymberley
Thanks, Cranfield, sounds promising. Hadn't thought about the rooks so I'll give it a try for them as well. Cheers
UKPoacher
The 'Flying Pigeon Decoys' mounted on a fibreglass tent pole flap, sway and turn in a decent wind. Edited July 21, 2010 by UKPoacher
