Salop Matt
How well have you managed to get the CCI`s to group ? Your the first iv herd to be able to get them to group well enough to use with confidence ! Also have you found any reduction in ricochetts ? pixie
How well have you managed to get the CCI`s to group ? Your the first iv herd to be able to get them to group well enough to use with confidence ! Also have you found any reduction in ricochetts ? The rifle is an Anschutz 1417, I tried these out and won't be getting anymore. The furthest rabbit was 75 yds, my zero. However I think I was just lucky with shot placement but when I initially tried these they grouped Ok, but an inch higher than Eleys. Oh no richochetts. mick miller
I found they grouped terribly, ricochets were just as bad on hard ground (except you get three little bits pinging off instead of one) and one or two sounded like they went supersonic, completely clearing the target. Anyone want to try a box out (I have plenty left )
daft dog
i've shot maybe 350-400 rounds of the CCI segmenting. Grouped fantastially in my ruger out to 50m. certainly think they have more "stopping power" than a standard hollow point (they left a bigger mess on the other side of the head!). still had ricochets though....no noticable difference between these and the RWS i was using. I would suggest they weren't worth the extra £2.50 a box. Just tried a box of ely subs tonight and they group just as well and so will probably just use them going forward.
