Cookiemonsterandmerlin.
Once again carrying on from last weeks good sport I tried a pea stubble that had birds on it all summer but due to the crop I had not shot on the farmer request . The birds where pouring in when I arrived I setup in the wrong place first and a quick change I was in the hotspot . The birds streamed in for first two hours but then eased off . Then at 1800hrs the farmer turned up with the baler to bale the pea straw and knocked the flight on the head . Packed up with 104 the birds are back after my concern over lack off birds generally . Cheers OTH

Ferret Master
Good going. I've had my eye on a hundred or so that are showing interest in some beans which weren't sprayed off due to heavy rain after they were drilled. As a result the field is full of thistles and poppies. I'm hoping they are going to move onto the rape and barley stubbly bordering each field very shortly as shooting can commence on Thursday. FM
