Happyhunter
Traded my lanber in for a Miroku mk70 last year which I use for clay shooting, sporting and DTL. I love the Miroku and am shooting well with it. But after a days shooting my shoulder is feeling it. It only has a slim solid plastic heel plate, so want to get a proper recoil pad. Would like to know peoples preferences, make, thickness. Also what do you think of the mechanical recoil reducers. obviously you would have to cut off a good bit of the stock to install them. would this devalue my gun as some people might see them as gimmicky? any advice would be much appreciated. I might just add I won't be doing any instalation my self , I'll put it into the local gunsmith. Thanks Struan.
jimmyb79
Kick-eez for me every time. With the exception of my Browning Maxus, I've had a kick-eez put on every gun I've ever owned and they're fantastic. I agree with you about the recoil reducers, ugly things that will take value off your gun, but then again you need a comfortable gun to shoot. Speak to your gunsmith about it as well as they're bound to have an opinion on what'll work for you - but for my money, its got to be a kickeez. Dekers
Assuming the gun fits you at the moment anything else will not..so, serious, expensive gunfitting work may well be required, probably worth looking at cast and drop at the same time...how deep are your pockets??? May well be worth chopping it in and starting again with a gun that works for you! But if you want it to fit and be comfortable I can guarantee these can help...tell them Deker sent you! http://www.####.co.uk/
BlaserF3
If your skeet vest has a pocket for one of these http://www.wksswebshop.co.uk/browning-reac...ystem-821-p.asp try one they really do work. They are very cost effective Edited August 8, 2010 by BlaserF3

I have a good relationship with my local gun dealer and he knew exactly what I was looking for. Tried many guns before buying the miroku. It's just after a long day on the clays it's a little unforgiving. A couple of inperfect gun mounts and it leaves a mark. Thanks for the advice lads. I'll check out the kick-eeze pads.
