22-250 first try

had a invite last night to try for a few foxes on my mates new shoot 1600 acres lovely. anyway he has a 22.250 rugar useing 55gr ammo and it was bang on 2 foxes 2 very dead foxes this is the first time i tried a 22.250 and i must say i am impressed cracking rifle :o edited for the realy concernd :blink:

Good for you! But I thought 22.50 was an obsolete calibre ? Unusual to say the least. But 1600 acres .. Fantastic!

The 22-250 is a great calibre. I'm only shooting rimfire at the mo (.22wmr), but if I were to go for centrefire again, .22-250 would be the calibre :o
