Off out this afternoon

Well..Dr.Kyska is away with her friends for the weekend, myself and 3 chaps off PW are off to the rape stubble this afternoon (300 acres of interconnected fields), 4x4, two hides, 4 guns and lots of deeks.

 

Pheasant stew is in the slow cooker for when we get back, red wine is breathing, beer in the fridge, the local pub landlord wants pigeon in exchange for beer...looking good

 

We've had no success up to now really as we're only just starting out, so we're hoping two hides at either end of the fields might help, and increase our beer tokens for after the shooting.

 

I'll get some pics, whether we shoot anything or not.

Pigeon and Crow is not something I do a great deal of, generally just a few opportunist ones whilst out, but I have a site that has developed this year into a MAJOR crow problem, so much so the sky almost turns black with them.

 

All a bit high and fast at the moment but working on hides and position.....
