Harnser
A devious and cunning plan has just come to me after reading cats thread . How about taping rape stubble to the magnet arms when shooting on rape stubble .This will surely make the arms blend in with the rape stubble . The same thing could be done on any other crop . I am going to give it a try next time out with the magnet and see how it goes . It would be interesting if some of you also give it a try and we can compare results . Harnser . UKPoacher
If the arms are square sectioned then why paint a light tone at one side and dark one at the other?

Cranfield
I spray all my metal decoying aids with matt acrylic paint, in brown, black and dark green, works a treat, even on wheat stubble. It will be interesting to hear how you get on.
