Batch
134 ......... hard work ......... I would call that a spanking day out!! As for my efforts yesterday..........1!! And that was shot by Bakerboy. Pretty gutted really as I was returning the favour to Terry, by taking him to my perm, but the pigs were just not playing ball Now 1 pigeon decoying for 3 hours effort, that is hard work, depressing, soul destroying embarassing etc etc

Did a recce on one shoot last week, masses feeding on it so out the next day, absolutely nothing! Drove round the farm, watching, drinking coffee etc for four hours and didn't bother setting up. Not a bird anywhere. This weekend we went to another farm, recce'd it saturday afternoon and they were piling into some rape stubble. Three to four beautiful flightlines We watched for a couple of hours til about 6.30 and it looked hot! Sunday we were on the field for 8am, finally packed it in at around 6.30..............for 12 birds!! now that was hard work!! They had completely disappeared. During the day I went for a drive round and theres over 2000 acres of arable/grassland. Not a piggy to be seen anywhere We bumped into another shooter who had also blanked and he said that they had all but disappeared from his other shoots too. Wierd!!
