Rapid 7 FAC Help

Hello chaps, great forum!

My problem is I have an early MK1 Rapid 7 from new, had it uprated to FAC by theoben and think it was running about 22ft lbs. The question is its not been serviced since FAC upgrade maybe 10 years ago and was thinking of servicing myself. Are there any upgraded parts I can fit and is the service straight forward if your handy. Would like it to be over 22ft lbs as this now seams tame to some figures knocking about. Also it still has the original shorter barrel on.

Thanks

why not go onto airgun forum and ask about servicing and kevg, donnyc, or sam they could and would do it for you as for barrell length it wont affect you "upping" power but and presume you will have a 16" it will reduce shot count if you go up to say high 30's? I have two mk1/2 hybrids both have been re fitted with 19" bsa barrells very accurate and surprisingly not too expensive

cheers KW

Bigfatbooze I went to the local gun shop to have my rapid 20 serviced and the guy who deals with the airguns who also shoots with a rapid told me if its still working well with no loss of power then don,t waste money changing something for the sake of it. You could do more harm disturbing the workings and seals inside for no reason. Just something for you to think about.

Kindest regards GG
