Straight pull is a single shot civvy version. Do you have a trigger kit as the one I tried was like a brick
the trigger is shocking on it yes, after 200 yards uve gotta aim 1 ft to the right of target. I've had one on order for 15 months! The state dept is being a pig about such things, low mill ranges is importing it,he's re routing stuff through canada,as it seems easier a route. so hopefully ile have one soon! And also I seem to remember the OP giving Rugers a kicking about being ****, I don't ever remember having to aim off because of my rugers trigger :good:

But then again, you either have a good trigger technique, or you rely on them being so light it doesn't matter.

I did not make anything up,

As you say you were slagging off Rugers saying they were ****, yet you have bought a rifle that you have to aim off a long way because the trigger is ****, and you are having to fit an aftermarket one to make the rifle shoot.

As I have not had to add any aftermarket parts to my ruger to get it to shoot I would say that this rifle of yours is worse than any Rugers.

I kinda get you're point, but fail to see any correlation between the two firearms, can you expand on you're answer a little more please?

oh come on, as a fox tool its poo if you have to aim off by 2ft at over 200 yards that means its pot luck at 100 as you can't be shooting it straight at 100 if its off by 2ft at 200

I agree if you're one of the lock n load etc boys its cool for plinking targets but a decent fox gun has to be accurate not just make a noise.

What part don't you get?

The fact that you slate Rugers claiming they are rubbish, yet you buy something that is worse. What aprt do you want expanded? the fact that my Ruger with the exception of the quick bolt release is entirely standard and I have shot 100's or possibly into the 1000's of rabbits and hares with it. Or the fact that your Steyr has such a **** poor trigger that you to aim off at 200 yards.

However if you are aiming off 2 feet at 200 yards and for some reason you do not pull the rifle as much then what happens? Do you risk an injured animal? I sincerely hope not, but as you claim it to be a rifle for Fox, vermin and target that suggests that you are using it for them when you shouldn't be.

I am not Al4x's brother yet we do tend to agree on various points as we are both resonsible and experienced shooters. As he has just said a rifle used for vermin and fox control needs to be accurate every single time. That Walts fantasy that you have isn't, which makes it IMO unsuitable.

I would have thought an RCO would know that.

Have you ever shot one? As I said up to 150-its fine spot on,at the end of the day its a ballpup and a bar going back through the action will never be as good as a standard rifle configuration. The ironic thing is it should have come with the kit installed but he had no stock! I had a tika t3 lite b4 great for fox but bad at the range (sporting barrel) I just wanted something diffrent,if u don't like it I'm not hurt honest! If we all had the same rifles things would be boring.if ure down this way I invite you to try mine,mc to if he likes.

mc I never said I do engage fox beyond 150m,in fact ide be silly to as,as you said I risk injury not kill. My ruger post u refer to was of the new 10/22 which aren't as good as they used to be quality wise.I suspect u have a metal trigger guard and trigger as opposed to the new all plastic. Which is funny cas the other rifles they do seem to have got better quality wise! As for my styer well I still invite you to try mine ,at bisley if u want I'm there sept 18,thanks for ure kind words no offence taken!
