Shooting wanted in Hampshire

Recommended Posts

I'm still looking for rabbit/pigeon/fox shooting in Hampshire (I'm BASC insured), looking for all opportunities. Since relocating to Southampton I've had no luck getting permissions from visiting farmers etc, so any help would be much appreciated.

Even if someone just needs help to do the lamp for them that would be great, anything to be outdoors/around shooting.

Thanks in advance.

Same position here. I used to have a permission for air rfile only, but lost interest and let the permission go (What a T**T). Since being "back into" my shooting and gaining my shotgun certificate 6 months ago I have had no luck with gaining any permissions.

I am Funtley, Fareham area and currently only get to use the air rifle at work (Approx 3 acres of pasture land behing our offices, squirrels & woodies) and sporting clays every other weekend.

Going to do a mass leaflet drop this weekend around Wickham, Soberton Heath, Mislingford. I will be in touch if I have any luck!

Its perhaps a bit late for this season, but have any of you looked into wildfowling?

Langstone wildfowlers would be a good place to start.

I do a couple of paid days wildfowling each year, but pay by day, not annual membership. I don't have my own dogs etc, so joining a club isn't really practical.

I'm after rough shooting really, pest control etc.

Also, if anyone knows of any good clubs in the Southampton area for a bit of target shooting that would be good, as I have shot on plenty of ranges, but never as a club member. Would ideally like to start some fullbore shooting as well as rimfire.

Thanks

Most wildfowling clubs have rough shooting available, Langstone does.

The need for a dog is not really a problem either, go out with someone who does have one.

Another advantage of joining the club, is the fact that you will meet and possibly make friends with other shooters..... (do you see where Im going with this?)

It can open doors for you !

I agree with chrispti ,Im a member of langstone and it can open doors for you , Its all about networking. And as said the membership comes with a bit of rough shooting. The problem on the south coast is there is alot of shooters and not much land.
