Cammo for vehicles

We mentioned this some time back in a thread about cars in the field.

As I said if it is a sunny day or if my 4x4 is close to my hide,I keep a couple of spare nets onboard to drape over it.The rear side and back windows are the coated type which stop people seeing in but they reflect the sunlight strongly. The chrome and body work are not such a problem as thry are usually well coated in mud anyway.

I think it is a good idea to cover your vehicle anyway if it is in a part of the field that you dont want to alarm incoming birds. It can work the other way of course and you can put the vehicle in a part of the feld uncovered where you dont want the birds to be. ;):)

Never tried to camo net a vehicle before as I have never found the need. There was an occassion last year when one of the lads motor was parked on the other side of the field. It was OK until the sun came round. The refection of the glass was so bad that he had to go and move it. In this case it would have had to be a very dense net to be effective.

Did you know there are companies in the U.S that specialise in realtree dipping whole cars!!! I saw realtree quads at the CLA game fair last year. Very pretty!! ;)
