countryman
A few days ago our old farm cat had a run in with an adder, i saw her pawing it in the grass, and its not the first time shes had a go at them only this time she took a bite. She has been very ill for a few days , i thought she was going to die last night but she seems a bit better today. is there any thing i can give her, the vet said no . Thanks Chris
Evil Elvis
Too late now, shes over the worst now.Best get a blood test in a few weeks to check her kidney and liver functions, untreated envenomations can cause organ failure.Youre vet is an ***, there is an antivenin for the adder venom that works on dogs and cats, my next door neighbours dog has been bitten twice!!!
