steve_b_wales
Have a look at the Hawke range. Not expensive, and excellent clarity. Opticswarehouse.com sell them.
seeker
Whilst the top names are very(v) nice at a price there are choices. I use an 8x32 but would also be comfortable with a 7 or 8x42 for stalking, field use .. size v usability. I find the 10s show shake a bit too much. A good name used can be a bonus if the condition is fine .. scratches on the case ok .. on the lense no! Try www. RMacleod.co.uk .. usually some interesting ptices new/ s.hand , or http://www.24hourcampfire.com/8x42.html for some other options
