stealthlyninja
Does anybody use pop up hides?? I like to do my own netting, but sometimes a pop up would be really easy and quick. Opinions please.

Opinions please. I've got one. Only downside is the fact there is an open bit at the front which pigeons might be able to see you. As long as you keep still, should not be a problem. Keeps you a lot dryer than if you use standard hide netting

Opinions please. I got two, one looks like a bush and the other a round bale. They aint quick or easy and I'm useless at packing them away. The bale is the best one though, gets you out in the middle of the field

UKPoacher
I've got a Pop-a-Bivvy. Very quick to put up. It's waterproof, keeps you warm in cold winds and quick to put away once you learn the knack. It has a small window that you can shoot an air rifle through or a full opening flap for shotgun use. I put a camo' screen in front of the opening and a chair behind, inside the bivvy then stand to shoot over the camo' screen. Itis solid green, but this worries people more then pigeons. I've shot plenty of pigeons and crows from it even when erected in crop circles on standing wheat.

artschool
another advantage is the weight of a pop up compared to hide poles plus netting.
