Bleeh
Hello phil try and buy flocked decoys as they are much better than the cheaper ones. You can pick the floaters up for around £15 and the dead bird type decoys are also very good.PS. SPLASH out on a magnet, as you know you need one. People managed to shoot without magnets for decades, and as a very useful bit of kit, they can be a bit of a double edged sword, even more so for the novice shooter who wants to get pigeons in as close as possible, as they do scare pigeons as the approach it (though well within shooting distance). I say stick with the floaters for a cheap opition.
Philmypower
Yeah a magnet would be good but will have to put that on hold for a while, deffo gonna give fuds ago and hopefully get myself a floater or
sitsinhedges
If I were starting again I would buy 10 flocked shells with spring sticks and a couple of floaters. The main thing seems to be to add movement so the pattern gets noticed and if you can do that with wind power rather than heavy batteries then all the better Things just never seem to work with me and magnets
