FalconFN
One of my permissions is next to a busy road and I'm always aware that getting a gun out of the boot of my car may alarm one or two motorists, so a take down rifle would be great. I don't, however, like the idea of having a removable barrel as I'm sure re-zeroing would take much longer and would use more pellets and air. Could I make a take down version of a BSA Ultra? It is already small and without the butt and silencer it would fit into a small package, but would it fall foul of the law? Are there certain rules that apply to a TDR to stop it being used as a 12ft/lb pistol? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Easy Bully
The TDR will fire without the stock o but only at around 8ft lb, once the stock is engaged its back to 12 ft lb. EB

Just keep the gun in its slip until you are away from the road, thats what I would do anyway.
