Ashbiker
I am interested if the shoot is around Doncaster area as its not going to be too much of a trek for me to get there from Leicestershire. I have done a few driven days shooting but never pigeon shooting so would be interested in yours if on a sat or sun. b/w Ash

Ashbiker
Many thanks. The issue is not really driving that extra 25 miles, albeit, waking up 45 min earler to get in time for the shoot! I have a 4x4 so gettting to the farm is no problem. Its just I hate waking up early on a Sat or Sun However, if the shoot starts late morning, then it is no problem! What time would you normally start the set up? Kind regards OTH am just having a laugh. you are right though, these things all start with the best of intentions until some idiot does something stupid and gets hurt. if it was people you know and trust then i guess it would be different. You could make it a stipulation about membership and insurance. One thing I noticed was the isu relkating to loaning a gun to somone. Plese remember that unless the land is a closed private land area and unless that area is licensed and apporved by plod, then you can not loan a gun to a non licence holder. Also if they did shoot or discharge gun you could have a problem. Sorry to be negative, but legal side needs watching. I for one would not like such a brilliant offer to be dropped for new licence holders or for members wanting a good day out shooring pigeon, Anyway, this is a crackin offer ad I wish well to everyone. We need more of this to ensure that good practice and safety is procticed by all fromthe first outing.
