how much netting do you need to build a hide? I have look at som netting but its sold in alsorts of lengths

 

i'm a biggish bloke of 6 ft 3" if that makes any differance

I have aload of mod cam net but i'm thinking of buying some less bulky netting

my nets 6ft x 10ft does the job im 6ft

10ft in a hedge or 16ft to make a small square hide in a field and it doesn't hurt to double it up sometimes so a 10ft deep one might be handy.

I was just going to ask the same question what is the ideal hight and length of a hide net as i have just aquired some and dont know what sizes to cut it into any surgestions

Use 4 or 5 (Preferably 5) poles, with a net of 5' x 12-15'.

 

If you use extendable poles, the hide can be extended from 3'-5' high. I've attached netting to my poles with cable ties so that the poles will still extend. No faffing about with pegs - Just roll out the whole lot, shove the poles into the ground, tweak the height and you're ready to go.
