Stamford
OK Guys, what have you got ? Looking for my son's first shotgun.... 410 or other ? Obviously a 12 would be too much for him, he's only 10 and he's not a big lad. Any ideas ? Cheers Stammers
silver pigeon 3
Hi mate, bought my lad an Investarm 410, cracking little gun. Look in the for sale section there is one in Kent for £175. ATB Ben
COACH
If he`s not a big lad then go for a simple single barrel webley scot bolt action or similar. £50/£100. If the stock is a little long you can always take a little off in the shed because they aren`t worth much and he can always pass it on to his son then. I have one for the little lads and lasses that want to have a go and they love it.
manxman2
Buy him a 20 bore with a 410 adapter, tell him if he keeps it mint you will buy him a 12 gauge for his 14th birthday, he can grow through them then. steve_b_wales
Depending on your budget, the Yildiz 410 s/s is a cracking little shotgun. I use mine for squirrels etc and it's brilliant.

bakerboy
Looking at spending no more than £150 tops My 8 year grandson, uses a .410 single barrel, brought 4 pigeons down last time out, and only the 3rd time out. Lovely little gun, but he will soon want 28 and then a 20, so do not spend too much. bakerboy
