soreshoulder
i have a good condition winchester grand european trap 12 bore. My original plan was to 'sporterise' it, but the gunsmith cannot bend the wood far enough for me. It is teague choked and has lovely wood on it and comes with 5 chokes, but how much is it worth? Paddy Galore!
more than i can afford (boo hoo) at an educated guess i'd say between £600 - £800. a friend of mine has a skeet version going for 600, it is immaculate.
COACH
Any pictures mate ? A very nice original one can fetch £1500 but more than likely it will be around £900.
soreshoulder
here you are coach, it is in good condition but the bluing is starting to wear a little thin underneath the barrels near the muzzles Edited October 5, 2010 by soreshoulder
Scully
Very nice wood....it must be worth over a grand. There's one for sale in this months 'Sporting Gun' mag';going for around a grand if I recall. I always thought the Grand European was made with a Prince of Wales pistol grip;you learn something everyday.Nice gun. My diamond grade has gorgeous wood;cost me around 800,have been offered more for it but it's not for sale.
COACH
Not the best picture mate but with what you say about the bluing, that`s usually done on a hide net. But I would definately say £8-900 Go for £900 and see what happens but be prepared to drop a bit
