Tony has just mentioned something that I firmly believe in - What goes round comes round! I ALWAYS try to treat others the way that I would like them to treat me and if I can do someone a "good turn" then I will because I know that there will always be someone out there that will be willing to help me out if needed!

The lamp isn't for me, I am going to try to get it going for a 17 year old lad that I am teaching the "tricks of the trade" regarding vermin control as he wants to learn as much as possible before he puts in for his FAC, so it isn't me that is after something for free (Not that anyone was implying that)

There are two particular groups of people that are "special" to me and I will do what I can for them - The Elderly cos I'm getting that way myself, and The Young because I believe that with the right help many of them can be helped to stay on the straight and narrow!

I any of us want to see "The Younger Generation" improve their lot then it is up to us to set an example and I am very grateful to Tony for his generosity!

Franchie,

if the lamp doesn't fix can you let me know and I will but the little cam lock on the bracket that goes round the scope (see part marked in red, i also need the threaded bit and the nut end), I lost my one so have had to bodge one and would like to get the standard one back and you can't buy the clamp in parts..

Thanks and regards,

Gixer

No problem mate, if I can't get it working (I'm usually quite useful with my hands as the wife will testify) I will most certainly keep you in mind!
