welsh1
I have just walked the dog at one of my farms, and noticed he has cut two large fields of corn on the cob, for mulch for feed. There is stubble left in the field, but it is thick stalks, would it be worth decoying over it for pigeons. Cheers in advance for any advice. welsh1
Cheers, i was going to give it a bash, just wondered if any one had shot over it. There is a lot of the mulch still on the ground,so i think the pigeons will go for it.
COACH
Definitely go for it. You may need some movement in your pattern though.
webber
Its only worth setting up if pigeon are feeding on the field, or there is a defined flight line. Spend a little time observing before committing to shoot. webber
berettaman
Defo ,they will be searching for nibblets/ears of corn and will take them straight from the cobs if there are any left

alastair0903
They call it maize. +1 for that , i would say it would be worth a go . i ploughed in the only maize stubble around here last week and there were 100`s of crows feeding on it . kind of made me want to stop ploughing and get the gun out !
