njc110381
I've not long bought one myself. For use where noise is a real issue they're great - by no means silent but a lot better than a standard shotgun. I think mine sounds about the same as a spring air rifle. I shoot it in my garden and haven't had any complaints yet.

Guest gloker
Ive got one. mine is the black plastic'cough' I mean Stealth model. They are good fun. I used to have a mossy pump hushpower and I have found the baikal to be quieter.(I have used it on one of my permissions when nearby stables'horses are turned out. They dont even do the snorting thing.) Not much difference between subs and normal rounds sound wise. mine seemed to be quieter after a few boxes of carts and a neoprene moderator cover. (double barrel sock on fleabay fits perfect for about a fiver) Bit of a pig to clean. the moderator unscrews completely leaving a barrel with a couple of turned bungs that get really caked up quickly. I was told to leave the mod dirty to get the best out of it? If it gets really bad I will have to clean it up tho as Im a bit OCD. I fitted a torch from dealextreme after seeing it on another baikal and thinking. oo what a good idea. used it in a dark barn on rats.Brilliant. I fancy fitting a sling to it now, anyone done that? vampire
I have a single baikal that has become the chosen bunnie tool with great success, question ; does the screw on hushpower silencer £50 work at all ! and how much is the full length hushpower/can you fit it your self. One field i shoot with the 410 has horse ajoining it in another field and as long as you fire the 410 at the far end away from them first they then take no notice of the little 410 baikal
