Different types of Beretta Chokes?

Hi Guys

The more I think about it the more confused I get about Beretta chokes! I have recently bought my first Beretta - AL391 Teknys - and I am looking to get some extended chokes for it.

I notice on these forums and others that folk selling Beretta chokes usually specify what type of Beretta they are suitable for. My manual says that my gun uses Mobilchokes - are these the same as Optima?

Any help in clarifying would be great!

Thanks

Optima are longer, somewhere in the region of 70mm for flush fitting ones compared to about 50mm for mobilchokes.

Not interchangeable.

the beretta 391 is available with optima and mobil chokes. dependant, i think, if you have a game or sporter gun.

pretty sure the tenkeys is the same, dependant if you have a game or sporter version.

as you alredy have some chokes, the type will be engraved on them as well.

it should be written on the barrel which sort of chokes you need.

failing that as below will give you a guide to the different choke lengths.

also most - but not all - guns that are mobile choked will come from beretta with flush chokes

most that are optima choked will be supplied with extended chokes
