paul87
I'm stuck on which scope to buy for my tx200 fac (17ft/lbs). I really only want to spend £50 max and have seen some on JS Ramsbottom which to me sound like good scopes. But i don't undersatnd the adjustable parralex or what its for or even if i need it seeing as 50 yds will be my maximum range. I currently have a 4x40 (no make or model known came on my air rifle) but i find at longer distances shot placement is a little uncertain. Can any of you guys help i have been looking at the following http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/rifle...-up-covers.html http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/rifle...dot-riflescope-[non-px].html http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/rifle...40-mil-dot.html http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/rifle...ith-mounts.html http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/rifle...att-riflescope-[510481].html i realise most of these are out of stock but i'm in no rush. If there are any others you would like to suggest by all means let me know. I have also read good things about hawke scopes so if you can think of a good one in my budget please let me know. Thanks Paul

garden gun
Hawke Sport HD 4 X 32 - more than adequate out to 40-50 Yds. Mounted on Gamo Magnum. Hawke List price £27-50. Good in low light, but does "go blind" direct into low sun at around 1700 at this time of year. bruno22rf
Why not buy a second hand one?-come up on this site all the time and theres a lot of decent blokes on here who wont mess you about.Make sure you get at least a 40mm objective lens and decent mounts-TX is a very good gun so buy the best you can for it. paul87
[quote name='HDAV' With a TX200 running 17ft/lbs wound a one piece base mount be a better idea? Correct a one piece mount would be better to cope with the recoil. Thankfully one came with the air rifle. I was looking at the mountmaster scopes on jsr, has anyone any experience with them in particular?
