Amount of re-fills depends on-tank size-pressure in tank-gun working pressure. If you do a lot of shooting then its worth getting a tank (make sure you can get it re-filled locally)-if funds are tight then buy a second hand set up (quite often come up on this site or any airgun site) but make sure its got a long re-test date on it.You could live with a pump if you,re young and fit and then buy your tank a bit at a time in the for sales section-once you,ve got the kit you can sell the pump-thats whet i did and saved a fortune. :good:

Filling my 400ml buddy bottles for my rapid can cost between £1-£2 each but i have to travel to shop which adds fuel costs and a toll bridge @ £1.50 :hmm:

I invested in a 300bar 15ltr bottle with gauge you can pick these up secondhand for around £100 (make sure its in test -test can cost £30ish) and new for £200 ish out of this i get around 40 fills and to fill the bottle costs £10,cost of fills for buddy bottles now cost me only 40p each and no travelling or bridge toll costs

Depends on how much you shoot and size of the air storage onboard gun ,my mate fires a s400 with a small cylinder and fills it with a foot pump in under 3 mins ,to try and fill a 400ml buddy bottle this way would take a lot longer, you can get smaller cylinders 3ltr etc which cost less ,but if your fit enough and your only filling small onboard gun cylinders a foot pump does the job easy enough, if cost isnt an issue then buy a tank :good:
