  4. Hi this is my gun ,would rather do a face to face deal with this please ,i also have a 12ltr 300bar charging kit & carry strap bought from bestfittings just over 12months ago which i would rather sell with gun ,charging kit is just under £280 with bestfittings Gun & charging kit £750.00 thx Dean
  5. Rapid 7 is considered to be the hunters choice as said before high shot count very reliable and superb accuracy i wouldnt part with mine for the world ,only downside is its a little heavy , as said tho ive fired the s410 and what a lovely gun as are the hw100's ,any of these guns will do the job and will not dissapoint ,at the end of the day go to the shop and pick them up and see how they fit and how it feels in your hands that will be more important
  6. IF stock is not banged about and blueing is good as a rough guide you should be looking for around £500 upwards .25 is the flavour for fac but are still sought after in non fac ,depends on if you are after a quick sale or want to hold out for a decent price ,looks a really nice gun tho ,good luck with sale
  7. Filling my 400ml buddy bottles for my rapid can cost between £1-£2 each but i have to travel to shop which adds fuel costs and a toll bridge @ £1.50 I invested in a 300bar 15ltr bottle with gauge you can pick these up secondhand for around £100 (make sure its in test -test can cost £30ish) and new for £200 ish out of this i get around 40 fills and to fill the bottle costs £10,cost of fills for buddy bottles now cost me only 40p each and no travelling or bridge toll costs Depends on how much you shoot and size of the air storage onboard gun ,my mate fires a s400 with a small cylinder and fills it with a foot pump in under 3 mins ,to try and fill a 400ml buddy bottle this way would take a lot longer, you can get smaller cylinders 3ltr etc which cost less ,but if your fit enough and your only filling small onboard gun cylinders a foot pump does the job easy enough, if cost isnt an issue then buy a tank
  8. MK1 rapid 17 here MTC viper ,have shot all sorts and nothing compares ,if it aint broke dont fix it , MK1 has always been the hunters choice
  9. PCP rifles are easier in my opinion to shoot and to learn with ,springers take a lot more practice to get used to the recoil jump etc that you dont get with a pcp ,and you can get them cheap if you dont go for daystate or theoben etc ,air arms are reasonable and if you are prepared to pump rather than buy dive bottles etc then you can get a decent rifle for £200-£300 ish the one i sourced for my mate was in very good condition a few minor scuffs but hey its for hunting not mounting on the wall Agreed you will need to learn to group shots before attempting live quary ,as for rabbits being hard to head shot, i find em a hell of a lot easier than a bloody bobbing headed pigeon who looks like he's suffering from ADHD
  10. As title ,looking for an Ameristep haybale hide/blind ,needs to be in good condition no rips or holes ,based in south west wales area and can travel or will pay postage if needed ,PM me with details Cheers Dean
  11. MTC viper fan here also ,but have to agree the hawks for the money are bloody great optics

    Rapid 7

Dont know if im breaking any rules here but if you want to change flavour go to rapid7ownersclub forum there are always 2nd hand barrels being advertised on there if thats what you want to do
  13. I picked up an Air arms S200 early model with scope and a foot pump for £200 not so long ago for a mate of mine ,he has been out with me a lot and bags plenty of bunnies with it ,nice little gun very light and great accuracy ,buyers market at mo dont rush into buying one keep an eye on all forums and post in wanted sections good luck
  14. Most cars have a lift up piece in boot to get to the spare wheel ,remove this section and fix velcro straps to it using whatever you feel like ,screw through with a piece of timber behind the lid ,or cut 4 slots and feed the straps thru ,works perfect, obviously if you have a 30k merc then i would consider maybe removing this section laying over a piece of ply and cutting an exact match and fit that keeping original safe till you want to sell car
  15. Sorry to hear this buddy I have always filled by buddy bottles to 200 bar which is what i was always led to believe and it is stamped on the bottle also, i use a 17ltr 300bar cyliinder and get around 40 fills from it ,and shop owners will always tell you you got stung and should of gone to them in the first place because thats what they do ,wouldnt take any notice of it ,i would also make sure the shop is capable of doing a 300 bar fill ,you need a decent setup to do it and i would be very carefull what he sells you also.. I purchased by bottle and valve from http://www.best-pcpfittings-quickcouplings.co.uk , they use quality bottles and fittings and the customer service is superb for lack of a better word ,i would certainly give them a ring and tell them your situation they may have a cheaper alternative good luck ,hope you get this sorted
  16. http://www.vso-software.fr/products/image_resizer/ Taught a 65 year old to use this program in 5 mins ,a picture says a 1000 words give it a try bud its free

  18. Always wash my pellets takes no time to do ,Don't over oil is the key 1 or 2 drops is plenty and a clean tin and not hanging about in a dirty jacket pocket keeps em **** free ,everyone has there own opinion on this ,but personally i like this system

    mk1 rapid 7 .22

Popping noise is indication of air lose under preasure ,if it only happens under fast load then my opinion would be an 0'ring somewhere maybe worn or dry ,don't know age of rifle or history but if it was my gun a strip and service would be on the cards, service kits are not overly expensive and instructions can be downloaded from rapid7owners forum and are detailed and with a small ammount of knowledge quite easy to follow ,if in doubt there are people on this forum who can do it for you and they are top notch Hope you get it sorted bud good luck
