oneshotkiller
A early afternoon trip out , loads of bolts and one netted due to my shoddy netting My permission borders another field thats out of bounds for a while but hey ho at least i'm learning even i'm not catching what i should This is the sort of land i ferret , most burys deep in the hedge . A typical bury , with most of the holes on the wrong side That hard won rabbit and my hob gotrek making sure i've necked it So 3 hours out with only one rabbit but am enjoying ferreting immensly , i'm learning slowly

lspencer
Dont worry about the bag size! As long as you and your ferret are enjoying it. Is it rabbit for tea?

Frenchieboy
You have said two very important things in your opening post. 1. You are enjoying yourself! 2. You are learning from your mistakes. Sometimes the best way to learn is by making mistakes as you are never likely to make the same mistake again once you have recognised what you did wrong. I wish you many happy days to come out with your ferret mate! Have fun, that's the most important thing!

Yes mate i'm absolutley loving it ,from setting the nets to having to dig my ferret out ( just once so far ) , i think i'm also begining to trust the ferret and his instincts more and just to let him do his work in the warren
