TomV
Made a lovely venison stew last week, did not stick to any strict recipe but here goes. I borrowed me mothers slow cooker, did the job perfect. Vension cut into smallish cubes 1 Onion diced Mushrooms chopped into quarters Good glug of red wine Few juniper berries 1 Carrot chopped Celery chopped up Good pich of salt and pepper Beef stock Beef gravel granules to thicken Bascially, I put everything in the slow cooker, added the stock and gravy granules to thicken and left to cook all day. The smell when I got home from work was awesome, it tasted even better. Need to get another slab of vension now

TomV
Dave - it was divine, slow cookers are the future Henry - as an alternative to gravy granules use corn flour, I had to use granules as it was all that I had
