Anybody know the best thing to treat it with, for some reason I've been thinking linseed oil? Wanting something that darkens it a little and protects from the odd spill or cup ring. I would use a slate dressing oil, dont worry too much about stains etc as slate is pretty impervios to staining etc. Interior stone is not really my thing but Ill see if I can get some info for you Try giving this firm a call www.originalfeatures.co.uk I know some of the blokes there and they definatly know their stuff.
