goldeneye243
Has anyone tried the budget hide poles with bag from uk shoot warehouse yet? Just wondering how they rate against more expensive sets....
Lez325
Ive not seen them- how much are they asking for them? I prefer the ones with the screw on the end- easier to get into frosty ground Les

Lez325
I'll pop over and have a look- but most poles sell for around £48 a set of four Les
TJ91
Just use leccy fence stakes from equestrian/agricultural store 2 quid a piece for the bigger ones, easy to stick in any ground, plenty of clips to hold the netting in strong wind a quik run over flat sides with sander and spray with some darker green or brown paint.. Lez325
I did see these at Mole Valley Farmers- 1.5 meters tall and lots of places to hang a net with a solid steel spike attached to the business end- shame they were all white but as said a spray can or 2 Brown/Green would make these ideal and CHEAP Les

DeadShot Stu
I use line props from Wilkos about £1.99 each and a sharpened metal spike (Big tent peg) with a jubilee clip to hold it in place, Works a treat......
fletcher1234565
You can use the extendable bank sticks for fishing. You can get them with the screw on the end to get them into hard ground. They will be ok for sitting but don't think they will be any good for a standing hide as they will only extend to about 5-6 feet. you can get them for about £4 each

goldeneye243
I bought the hide poles in the end and have tried them out a couple of times - They seem pretty good and ideal for me as I will probably not use them that often. If you are looking for a set, they are worth considering...
