Axe
Axe how much did the quad set you back all in all with the scope and both barrels? If you don't mind me asking? I really like the look of the .17 and the ability to change the barrels and get 2 rifles in one sounds good to me. Have you had any issues zeroing after changing the barrels? No probs, Rifle in .22 was 425 the 17 barrel was 120 and mag was 18. Scope well that I got for 157 a real bargain. As for zero conflicts I cant say at the moment as i havent actually switched them yet. But when I do i'll give you the full work own. :look:

HAMMY
Axe, Excuse my ignorance what do you mean using the 'mil dots'? Hammy
Axe
Hammy, since the scope was being zero'd at 60 yards on a forty yard range (hence the groupings being high), I was afforded the chance to check the hold under at forty yards using the mildots. This was done on the two Mags I used 8 & 16, so I was able to to find the shift in scale. As it turned out at that range 8 was 1/2 way between the centre and first mildot and; 16 was 3/5 between centre and first mildot.

HAMMY
Thanks guys, I'm not very technical. I put a new scope on my rifle when I was home and zeroed it at 50 metres standing leaning on a stane dyke, put 5 inside a 2pence, good enough for me. I must try it with a proper rest etc some time. It's a CZ 542 with a 3-9 x 40 scope (i think) it's pretty accurate anyway. Hammy
