Andy17 Posted February 6, 2006 Report Share Posted February 6, 2006 hi all, Was just curious as to whether anyone has finished or is thinking about finishing ferreting for this year?. Went out on saturday and at first didnt notice any young ones but throughout the day the ferrets just seemed to be laying up far more than often. Ended the day with 8 adults and 4 young ones. rushy lad Posted February 7, 2006 Report Share Posted February 7, 2006 Young have been showing all season up here, Even at christmas when we had a little cold snap they were still knocking about, I usually stop at the end of February ferretting, But will be out and about with my Lurcher pup throughout the summer. Ferretboy111 Posted February 7, 2006 Report Share Posted February 7, 2006 No point in giving up yet, way too much more fun to be had! the cover isnt up yet, but i must admit have seen alot of babies and caught pregnant does, but i usually have to dig down to the ferrets to rabbits in a stop hole anyway so doesnt make much difference digging down to baby rabbits.
