PestController
As mentioned in my first post today (newby post) I've been pigeon shooting for a while. I can honestly say that really successful days out ( 80-90) have been a minority, most days maybe a dozen or more, the odd day...nowt! :*) But one thing sticks in my mind, every time i've scored well, it's ALWAYS been very cold, and at least fairly breezy. Given the amount of rape countrywide, the birds will undoubtedly move on if disturbed...unless you have an irresistable decoy pattern with large numbers to pull them down.....and the birds have to be constantly hungry...methinks. My guess is because the woodies have a very high metabolic rate they use body fuel up very quickly, the colder it is, the more they feed, and the more they group. Anything above 4 or 5 degrees temperature I don't bother even going there now. Global warming...pigeon shooter's curse ! :<

Again my thanks :o Dave steady eddy, i live with 2 who must be obeyed as is it. we got ours her own place a bit back but after 12 months home she came. its hard to get rid of them Dave, but you must keep on trying mate. my sympathies go to you and Lorraine, and i cant see any hope for you in the next few years, just keep giving here your wallet, and be a good taxi driver for her. the bedroom must be decorated as and when she desires, and very soon she will want a pet or two, we have a ferret called tia that wont eat meat, and as a bath every next night.we must treat it like a queen when the said daughter goes out on the lash. and nowshe wants a monkey. if you do get rid how much for the spare room.
