The Essex Hunter
We were quite surprised as to the lack of rabbits that we got today! Numbers are quite a bit down on the previous years, we do leave some of the ground alone but it has made very little difference, no sign of mixi which is good, just low numbers TEH
turbo33
Thats a great haul, nothing around here. They have steadily declined over the last two years and its unusual to see one now

No mixy this year on three shoots round Colchester. 1st year in 5 that I have had these shoots that they have been mixy free. Reasonable year on the rabbits up until lamping season. Hardly getting any on the lamp this year ??

Just goes to show how much difference 10 or 15 miles and a river can make. I was out earlier, not a rabbit to be seen, shame I can't say the same about the Cormorants on my lakes Neil.
